Youth Conference - Empowering Futures:
Breaking Cycles of Violence and Exclusion
New Era Croydon was invited to the Youth Conference at the House of Lords as a guest of the London Violence Reduction Unit (VRU).

We heard from inspirational young people from Croydon’s Children in Care Council, Young London Today, Croydon Council’s Youth Justice Team, the Met Police‘s Youth Engagement Team, the Mayor of London’s ‘MyEnds’ Programme, and Croydon College.
New Era programme manager, Shalina Alabaksh, chaired the youth panel and round table discussions, also supported by consortium member Be Inspired.

- Pathways Away from Crime and Anti-social Behaviour
- Building Positive Social Networks
